about
Somewhat arbitrary first post, but this was the centerpiece of the Rule Of Law EP I released in a limited hand-made edition of 17 of 13 (sic) in 2006. Might upload the whole EP later, if I can find it. Can't even find the original cover to upload. This was made by layering two discretely and consecutively recorded guitar drones from their starting points (I used an Ibanez strat knockoff with eight-year-old strings, through an Ibanez DE7 delay pedal, laying directly on top of a 30 watt Peavey practice amp, twisting tuners, a noisy tone switch, and amp EQ settings) that were each about forty five minutes long. The core of it is feedbacking strings vibrating sympathetically. I lopped off either end to keep what seemed like the best middle section. No other edits were involved, though it was definitely mixed for maximum scum.
